United in a shared disdain for the Chicago Cubs, a Reds and Bengals fan and a White Sox and Colts fan take advantage of the nameless, faceless blogger abyss to spout unfounded, unqualified, and occasionally witty opinions about sports happenings.

That's pretty clever as a campaign tactic. I'm impressed and will notify my sister since she's in Missouri getting her Ph.D. so she can get the word out. Of course, if this lady had been a Republican, then I would call the move pandering and scummy. Hello, Waffle-Me!
On a related note, my girlfriend told me that she remembers when she was a little girl living in upstate New York. Because the Bills have such a huge blackout area (due to low population density, she says), companies would buy out the unsold tickets for the very same reason. But that was when they were winning. I presume everyone just huddles around the radio nowadays...
Don't know if that is a common practice nationally, but there it is. I think that constitutes the extent of my sports knowledge as I know diddly-squid otherwise.
It's a HUGE deal in Missouri. As an avid Cardinals/Rams (screw the Blues) fan, and a nerd, I'm always on the STL Post Dispatch's forums, and that move alone caused lot's of people (at least in their virtual lives) to say they plan to vote for her now.

Back when I lived in the greater Cincinnati area, even if we knew the Bengals were going to be completely shitty it was always still dissapointing when they were blacked out. Nobody cares about Denver at Tampa or something like that.
Cassie is not from Upstate!
