Well, This Certainly Seems Demeaning

Just wanted to point anybody interested to a post by Matt at With Leather. He has a good take on a supposed touch football game among some of our troops on Super Bowl Sunday. Apparently this is some sort of TV event put on by idiots at CBS. Look, it's a great idea to remind people back home that we have troops fighting overseas. That's important. But, let's not turn them into the fucking Bud Bowl. Can we all agree on that?

Thanks Ryan. I agree with you.

I got the Bears in both games. Any word on who's sponsoring that game?

Well thank God Randy Cross thought this up in the first place. There's something very wrong about calling it the "Baghdad Bowl"... I dunno... maybe because most of the citizens of Baghdad probably couldn't give half a shit about football while they're busy being blown up by suicide bombers. Christ. What a fucking mess. Further proof the U.S. has to turn everything into some sort of marketable stunt.

All seriousness aside, my money is on which ever team gets to wear the sand-colored camo.

Don't you think the sand-camo would make them the longshot? I know you like to lose money, but come on. I think it would be hard to hit your receivers if you can't see them.

Then again--camo works in all conditions, right?
